What will be in the archive?
The archive consists of all the documents and objects that we have been able to find in boxes, attics, garages etc, and covers the years from when the Bolton Women's Liberation Group began in 1971 up until 1986.
The archive was handed over on 31 July 2009. It is t available for research purposes. Feminist Archive North - based at the University of Leeds will house the material. Much of it will be digitised in order to preserve it and to provide duplicates to be held in Bolton Reference Library.
Some of the material will appear on this web-site, along with a searchable catalogue that has been organised in themes. This is a large document so may take some time to download. The catalogue is also available as a Word Document.
