2010
The start of 2010 meant that the project was in its final stages. In February we launched the Bolton Women's Liberation History Project cd.rom (seen above) at Bolton Museum & Archive. Women spoke about their time as members of the group and of the impact on their lives. Copies of this valuable record were sent out to local schools and colleges.
International Women's Day was held at Bolton Socialist Club this year. Again, women were able to speak about the History Project in detail and answer questions from the audience. It was a successful day with both audience and speakers enjoying the display, the speakers and the lively debate.
